We are located 435 km or just 8½ hours’ drive from Nagpur and may be an 8-hour reaching time from city connected to Nagpur (435km), Jabalpur (200km) & Khajuraho (250km) by air or Umaria Railway Station (33 KM).The core zone 716 square kilometer and Buffer Zone 820 square kilometer.
“Bandhavgarh National Park” is Spread over105 square kilometers. Attracts tourists fro malloverthe world. It’s close proximity to Nagpur, just435 km. on NH44, Bandhavgarh Tiger reserve located in the eastern Satpura hill range of Umaria and katni districts. Mythologically the name “Bandhavgarh” means (Bandhav = Brother and garh = Fort) and was acquire the name Bandhavgarh with the name of the fort. This fort was built and given to brother Lakshman by Lord Rama, to keep a watch on Lanka and hence it acquired the Reference to this is also found in the Narad Panch Ratna and Shiva Sanhita Puran. Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve is of vital importance considering its Flora and Fauna diversity.

The Tiger Reserve is Known for the healthy population of tigers and variety of herbivores. This area is unique from the point of biodiversity, as it comprises hills, valley, rivers, marshes and meadows to give rise to diverse vegetation. Apart from tiger, as many as 34 species of Mammals have been listed and nearly 260 species of birds and 70 species of butterfly.

*Please Note: The rates quoted for all safari packages are subject to change based on hike sin guide, gypsy and permit rates approved by the respective forest departments. There will not be a substantial change how ever a very normal incremental amount. We will update you on any such changes if any before your safari dates.

Note

  • Maximum 6 persons allowed in 1 gypsy. However, it is recommended that 4 are more comfortable as driver and guide also have to beaccommodated.
  •  Child below 5 years are not need to mentions in the permit.
  • It is compulsory to carry the original ID card along with you, the reference of which, you must have given for safari booking.
  • Single seat safari charges depend on final number of guests show up in gypsy, please check forest rules or ask our naturalist.
  • Once the permit is booked no changes can be made in term of name change or addition of extra person. As per the government norms
